"City of Sydney and Carbon Arts are inviting proposals for a temporary public artwork that engages with data on Sydney’s progress towards Sustainable Sydney 2030
This public art commission is part of Sensing Sydney: communicating sustainability through the arts, open data and public space, a City of Sydney and Carbon Arts project which aims to bring historic and real time data alive in ways that celebrate our collective efforts to address environmental challenges. We are interested in the different pathways for creative use of data and technology to engage the public in an active dialogue on environmental issues and citizen-engaged action." http://www.carbonarts.org/projects/sensing-sydney-public-art-commission/ Arts House expressions of interest for Season 1, 2014 opened on Monday 15 April 2013.
